Carnival Lines started the "cruise revolution" when they came on the scene back in the 70's. As the first President of the line has often said, "Before Carnival, cruising was for people over 70... and their parents!" They believed that there was a market for "Fun Cruising" and set out to get rid of high formality. They were the first to put casinos on board. They were the first to put theatres on board and stage lively shows. And they were the first to make dining a casual experience.

In those earlier days, admittedly, Fun Ship Cruising was maybe a bit too lively for many and the food was, well... just OK.
But today's Carnival is much different.
Carnival has the largest and most modern feet in the industry. They are still the most activity-oreinted cruise line out there but with a much higher level of sophistication and the dining is outstanding!

If you have not sailed with Carnival in the last 5 years, you really haven't sailed Carnival at all!
