Spring Breaks SPRING BREAK GROUPS
The staff at Gateway Express Travel are experts
in Spring Break Groups having handled hundreds of groups over the past decade!
Our goal is to offer trip options that meet
your family’s needs taking into consideration the activities, atmosphere
and price range you desire along with, of course, safety for all.
Over
the years our Spring Break business has grown consistently based wholly upon
referrals from clients who have been impressed with our expertise and handling
of this very special occasion - The Family
Spring Break!
Mexico
and The Caribbean are the "places to
be" and we are experts on the tropical beaches of
Playa del Carmen (our #1 destination every
year), Cancun, Puerto
Vallarta, Ixtapa, Jamaica,
Grand Cayman and, of course, Caribbean
Cruises! This year we are introducing Las Cabos
as the new, hot destination!
Presenting
our 2009 lineup of Spring Break trips..
Playa
del Carmen
Forty
miles south of Cancún lies Playa del Carmen - a lively haven of Mexican
charm. Its glorious Caribbean beaches and sea breezes guarantee a relaxing holiday.
Golf, parasailing, jet boating and ample night life guarantee a great time.
And, scuba diving and snorkel enthusiasts will be hard pressed to find more
interesting underwater delights. You are a short ferry ride from Cozumel Island
and the most important archeological sites at the various Mayan ruins of the
Yucatan peninsula.
The 4-Star first class Riu
Playacar Resort has been one of our most
popular for many years – and for good reason; it’s magnificent white
sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters and a coral reef is as good as
it gets! With two restaurants, two lounges, live entertainment and theme events
nightly, and any water sports you can imagine, the Riu Playacar is indeed an
exciting place to be. The
Playacar Golf Club is
just across the street and the quaint but lively downtown area is within easy
walking distance. As a bonus to your all-inclusive privileges at the resort,
you also have full privileges at two adjacent Riu resorts – the Riu Tequila
and the Riu Yucatan. Here
are the details.
Treat
yourself to 5-Star luxury at the new Riu Palace
Riviera Maya. Since it’s opening in January 2006, several
of our clients have upgraded to this luxurious resort and many have rebooked
it since! They were pampered with such amenities as hydro-massage bathtubs—a
standard feature in all 400 junior suites. The newest of five Riu resorts in
Playa del Carmen, the Riu Palace Riviera Maya provides a wholesome atmosphere
for families with elegant palatal architecture and breath-taking tropical landscaping.
Riu Palace Riviera Maya guests have full access to the facilities of all five
Riu Resorts. Here
are the details.
Puerto
Vallarta
The
premier destination on Mexico's Pacific Coast is, without a doubt, Puerto Vallarta.
And, with the sparkiling new resort district of Riviera Nayarit
-just minutes north of Puerto Vallarta'’s International Airport. The area
boasts 100 miles of pristine Pacific coastline, framed by the Sierra Madre mountains
and loaded with luxurious resorts, world-renowned surfing, four golf courses,
rare native wildlife, shops selling local artwork and traditional handicrafts,
charming fishing towns, and miles of serene beaches. And, Riviera Nayarit is
also home to the new Riu Vallarta!
The 4-Star first class Riu Vallarta
Resort (pictured
here), which opened in the fall of 2007, was our "newest" Spring
Break offering last year. And the groups & families we sent there came home
very satified. In fact some have already re-booked it for 2009. The all-inclusive,
beachfront resort is located on the Playa de Flamingos beach in Riviera
Nayarit (previously referred to as Nuevo Vallarta). It features 640
spacious rooms, beautifully manicured grounds, a golden sand beach, daytime
entertainment, children's program, and on-site disco. This waterfront resort
features breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, spectacular indoor and outdoor activities,
exquisite local delicacies and World-class fine dining and plenty of nearby
golf. Here
are
the details.
Our

for it's upscale golf, deep sea fishing and winter whale-watching. This is truly

exciting, new destination and two brand new resorts... the Riu
