Carnival Cruise Lines

Carnival Lines started the "cruise revolution" when they came on the scene back in the 70's. As the first President of the line has often said, "Before Carnival, cruising was for people over 70... and their parents!" They believed that there was a market for "Fun Cruising" and set out to get rid of high formality. They were the first to put casinos on board. They were the first to put theatres on board and stage lively shows. And they were the first to make dining a more flexible, casual experience.

In those earlier days, admittedly, Fun Ship Cruising was maybe a bit "too lively" for many and the food was... well, just OK.
But today's Carnival is much different.

Carnival has the largest and most modern feet in the industry. They are still the most activity-oreinted cruise line in the industry but the beer drinking contests and such are gone... and the dining is outstanding!

If you have not sailed with Carnival
in the last eight to ten years,
you really haven't sailed Carnival at all!
